Philip Simms, better known as Philly 5, is living out his childhood dreams one step at a time.
Although Philly has always known he was going to be a performer, it wasn’t until he got a push from his wife, Stacey Simms, that he decided to dedicate himself to his hip hop music completely.

Travelling to the 2010 Vancouver Olympics in February, Philly had the opportunity to perform with his friend and album producer Fresh I.E.
One of Philly’s singles, Swagger, off of his new album Hard Pressed, has already made it to the speakers of the UK club circuit, said Philly.
“It has been getting a lot of play in the UK. DJs were just picking it up and playing it and I was like, 'my album hasn’t even been released yet,' so I thought that was fantastic.”
