Another season of Concerts in the Park will begin Wednesday at the amphitheatre in Crescent Park.
The concert series, in its 15th year, will provide weekly collections to support projects of the Moose Jaw Health Foundation. The target for this year's funds will be the surgical unit of Moose Jaw Union Hospital. So far the concerts have raised $38,000 for the foundation. Investors Group has joined the project this year as a partner of the foundation.
The band, Dusty Old Farmers, will be featured at Wednesday's concert.
Other dates and bands are as follows: June 3, Band City Band; June 10, Three for the Show; June 17, Serenaders from Regina; June 24, Desperate for Haggis; July 1, Tex Emery; July 8, We Three Plus One; July 15, Amigos; July 22, Olga and Friends; July 29, The Smiths and Gordas; Aug. 5, Heritage Fiddlers from Regina; Aug 12, Al & Company; Aug. 13, Allan and Joe and Felipe Potosme. The entertainment for Aug. 26 will be announced.
All concerts will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m., with dancers welcome to participate along the park paths.
