Moose Jaw actors could be in with a chance to perform in Saskatchewan's longest running stage production, The Trial of Louis Riel.
The next show will take place on Saturday as part of the International Metis Festival at the Quintin Burdick Performing Arts Centre at the International Peace Gardens on the Manitoba/North Dakota border.
But two of the regular cast members are unavailable for the weekend and the production team is looking for two male actors to fill in for them.
Both characters are defence witnesses - one a doctor and the other a priest.
Cast members will be paid for their participation as well as costs such as accommodation, transportation and meals.
Copies of the script are available and Moose Jaw actor Russ McKnight, who plays Francis Lemiux, one of Riel's defence attorneys, will work with anyone interested to make sure they know the part and what is expected of them.
There may also be an opportunity for future proposed trips with wages and expenses paid for performances in Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston and Winnipeg.
Anyone interested should contact McKnight at 692-3233.
