Note: Doc Walker performed in Moose Jaw on Oct. 2.
The front cover of Doc Walker’s new album, Go, is reflective of the band’s busy life.
It shows the Manitoba trio in a convertible. Dave Wasyliw is driving, Chris Thorsteinson sits in the front passenger seat and Murray Pulver is in the back.
The wind whips through their hair as they travel quickly to their destination. The band’s Friday destination is Moose Jaw, when it performs at the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre.
Go, the trio’s sixth album, includes songs with titles such as Coming Home and Speed of LIfe.
“It’s been crazy these days, and that’s what this album is about, movement,” said Thorsteinson.
“We’ve put out three records in three years, we move back and forth between Nashville and Manitoba, and we also tour a lot.”
Tickets for the band's Friday show at the cultural centre are $40, and can be purchased at the Casino Moose Jaw box office, 694-3726. The show begins at 8 p.m.
