Auctioning chairs for charity, the Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery, along with Hunger in Moose Jaw are hosting the fifth annual Chairity Auction.
The event will feature 20 unique pieces of art created by local artists.
Bidding will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 22 at the Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery.
Keeping with the theme Chairity, the art submitted for the event was required to either feature chairs or be a decorated chair itself.
“Basically these are chairs that have been altered by artists, or are images related to chairs,” said Ross Melanson from the museum.
Melanson said the art could be anything from a painting, to a photograph, to a chair.
Although the event isn’t until Oct. 22, Melanson said the submitted art will be on display, at the museum Oct. 20-21.
