People will be taken back to the wonderful world of Anne of Green Gables when Vanier Collegiate’s musical version is performed this month.
Students are spending all their evenings rehearsing in preparation for the play adapted by Donald Harron on November 19, 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mae Wilson Theatre.
Director and drama teacher Debbie Burgher said students were very enthusiastic about the musical.
She said: “We have more than 60 pupils, including back stage, involved.
“Every year we try and pick a play to fit the students we have and we were looking for something that worked with the talent available and this seemed to be a nice fit.
“We are working very hard and rehearsing every day after school.”
