The Air Command Show Band is tuned up its instruments for a performance in Moose Jaw on Dec. 10.
The Christmas concert took place at Peacock Auditorium at 7 p.m. and all proceeds went to to the Naismith Foundation.
The Air Force musicians and singers will perform six concerts in Manitoba and Saskatchewan for thousands of members of the Canadian Forces, their families and the public.
Sergeant Benjamin Trowell, spokesman for the band, based at 17 Wing Winnipeg, said the group had been reformatted and made into a show band.
“It’s an exciting new band,” he said, “We love coming out to Moose Jaw.
“It is not your typical military band. It’s an absolute evening of entertainment.”
Trowell said Christmas songs by various pop artists would feature in the program as well as some traditional pieces.
