Note: This event took place on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009.

Earlier this month, singer Evie Koop experienced a thrilling moment.

On Dec. 5, she sang with the Regina Symphony Orchestra for the first time, and due to the extended applause that ensued, she was then called onstage at the Conexus Arts Centre by RSO director Victor Sawa for a second bow.

Koop landed the chance to sing with the RSO at its Romanza Christmas concert by winning the RSO Symphony Singing Star competition.

Koop will be performed  in Moose Jaw on Saturday, Dec. 19, at a concert called White Christmas: Holiday Classics, along with Regina singer Jeffrey Sawatzky.

The two will be sang a selection of classic and modern Christmas songs, including O Holy Night, White Christmas, Ave Maria, Home for the Holidays and Believe from the movie Polar Express.

At different times during the concert, they were joined by two ensembles of singers.

There was also be an audience singalong at a point in the show.
