Canadian rock band Lighthouse will be performed at the Mae Wilson theatre on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010.

    The event was presented by Casino Moose Jaw.

    Lighthouse has just celebrated its 40th anniversary year.

    Between 1969 and 1974, Lighthouse won four Juno awards as Canada’s best rock band and released nine albums reaching gold and platinum status.

    Hits include Sunny Days, Hats off to the Stranger, Pretty Lady and One Fine Morning.

    Lighthouse was formed in Toronto in 1969. Lighthouse Live, Canada’s first platinum-selling record, was taped at Carnegie Hall in Feb. 1972.
