Edmonton band will be playing in Moose Jaw

An Edmonton band will be coming to Moose Jaw next month as part of its first tour.

Ghost Cousin will be performing at Java Express on July 11 at 7 p.m.

Matthew Gooding said the band, which also includes Mathew Letersky, Shane Hauser and David Letersky, is excited about its first tour.

“We have just recorded a small ep we are going to release digitally so we have to tour to be noticed,” Gooding said.

“We have about 14 shows booked. We are going to Vancouver, Kamloops, Moose Jaw, Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax.”

Gooding said his goal is for the band to become his full time job.

“It’s indie pop/rock,” he said. “We have guitars, keyboards, base and drums.”
