Independent artist and Saskatchewan Country Music Association 2010 entertainer of the year Codie Prevost will be performing in Moose Jaw on July 24.
His new album ‘Get Loud’ was released on June 25 so the audience can expect to hear some of his new songs.
“It’s very uptempo, high energy,” Prevost said. “The show will be filled with energy and exciting for fans.
“I really like to make sure they have a great time and we want them to remember the show for a long time.
“I will play some old stuff as well as I’ve always been a Johnny Cash fan. It will be a variety for everyone.”
Prevost, 25, grew up in Archerwill, Saskatchewan, and when he was 14-years-old, he started to sneak upstairs to play his mother’s guitar.
A couple of years later he started entering different contests around the province.
When he was 19 years old he went to Nashville to record his own album. He now has three albums and has just recorded his first music video to a song called ‘Rolling back to you’.
