The world renowned Canadian Tenors will raise their voices to help raise money for the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre.
The vocal quartet will perform for a gala fundraising event at the Mae Wilson Theatre on Sept. 10 at 8 p.m. for their fourth performance in Moose Jaw.
The talents of Fraser Walters, Remigio Pereira and Victor Micallef were joined together by Tenors’ founder Jill Ann Siemens, a composer from Victoria, BC, in 2006.
Clifton Murray then joined the group in 2009.
The Canadian Tenors have performed around the world with many highlights including performing to 60,000 people during the Opening Olympic Ceremony in Vancouver and they have been named Canadian Ambassadors for Toronto’s 2015 Pan Am Games having written and performed the theme song.
Tickets for the concert, which is sponsored by Mosaic, cost $100 including all charges. There will be a pre-concert reception and art sale from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. They are available in person from the cultural centre box office.
Graham Hall, artistic/executive director for the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre, said it was a “complete coup” to have the Canadian Tenors perform in the city for the fourth time.
