The fourth annual Family Fest hosted by the Church of God has been canceled.
Due to the weather the festival at the Amphitheatre in Crescent park has been called off.
Last year over 500 people came out to enjoy the event, lunch, face painting, games and prizes.
This year the festival was to welcome the Saskatchewan Roughriders mascot, Gainer the Gopher, as well as the Humane Society mascot, Gus the Dog.
The Western Development Museum were going to hold a craft tent and the Saskatchewan Burrowing Owl Interpretive Centre were going to have a display and give visitors a chance to meet an owl from the centre.
Organizers of the event are unsure if the festival will be rescheduled for a later date.
