Local quilters will be able to show off their beautiful pieces at the sixth annual outdoor Quilt Festival in Crescent Park on Sunday.
The event is organized by The Quilt Patch and will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
People from all over Moose Jaw and beyond will show their quilts at the event, which attracts visitors from Alberta, Manitoba and even North Dakota.
Quilt Patch co-owner Jeanne Large said the quilts on display are not for sale and are not judged for prizes but just offer people a chance to show off their skills.
“We hang them for the day,” she said. “We encourage all our customers to bring their work to us.
“They can drop them off at the shop until closing on Saturday. Then we hang them on Sunday from 6 a.m.”
The festival is free for visitors and there is also a merchant mall where fellow quilting shops will show their wares in gazebos.
This year the festival has grown to be a three day event.
On Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Large and co-owner Shelley Wickes will launch their first book at the shop.
