The big news before Game 6 is that Quinton Howden will take the pre-game skate and is a question mark to dress.
If Howden doesn’t dress, Clinton Atkinson will take his spot.
Howden took contact in practice Friday. He hadn’t played since breaking his collarbone March 3 in Medicine Hat. He was expected to be out 4-6 weeks, but may return just before that four week mark.
The referees for Game 6 will be Trevor Hanson and Reagan Vetter. The linesmen are Chad Marshall and Keith Salamon. The video goal judge is Murray Gurski.
The starting goalies are Jeff Bosch for Moose Jaw and Martin Jones for Calgary.
The Game 6 scratches are: Moose Jaw — D Dallas Ehrhardt, RW Jakub Herman and LW Joey Kornelsen.
Calgary — D Peter Kesterman, D Jaynen Rissling, D Carter Berg, F Justin Kirsch and F Rigby Burgart.
We’ll see if that holds for the Hitmen. They listed Rissling as a Game 6 scratch, but he dressed instead of MacKenzie Royer. Not that either Royer or Rissling has seen a lot of ice time either way.
