On Monday the Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce announced this year’s finalists for the Moose Jaw Business Excellence Awards, which will be presented at the Heritage Inn on April 21.
In the category of community involvement, the nominees are Canadian Tire, Edward Jones and Moose Jaw Real Estate Board. The customer service category nominees are A&W Main Street, Heritage Inn and Hopkins Dining Parlour. Young entrepreneur nominees are Bloodline Tattoo Comp. Guys & Dawls, Velvet Hair Salon and Vibe Graphics.
Nominees in the marketing category include Boh’s Cycle & Sporting Goods, Festival of Words, Guys & Dawls and Jillian’s Design Elements. Healthy workplace nominees include St. John Ambulance, Speedy Cash and Sears.
New business category nominees include Artistique Acres Pet Resort, Jillian’s Design Elements and Vice Graphics.
Nominees in the job creation category include Carpet Gallery of Moose Jaw Ltd., Cardinal Construction Ltd. and Velvet Hair Salon.
Pioneer award nominees include BMO Bank of Montreal, Ottawa Real Estate and W.J. Jones & Son. Business innovation category nominees include Cypress Paving, Gary Overs Kennelling & Obedience and Moose Jaw 4A Home Inspection.
Business leader of the year nominees are Darin Chow, Brian Mikuliak and Greg Simpson.
