REGINA - Northern Saskatchewan residents will get a chance to publicly voice their opinion on the divisive issue of uranium development in the province.
Public consultations have been added in Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac and Wollaston Lake.
The three new meetings are in addition to 10 gatherings being held across Saskatchewan to give people a chance to respond to a uranium development report.
The report, which studied the nuclear cycle from mining to disposal, said the province should open the door to nuclear power.
Dan Perrins, who is overseeing the meetings, says he scheduled the additional cities because he wants ensure as many people as possible have access to the public consultation process.
Perrins is expected to submit his findings in a report to the government by the end of August.
