While city council added another advance poll, it denied additional stations to other parts of the city.
Neither Coun. Brian Swanson nor Coun. Dawn Luhning voted for the amendment to add a poll at SIAST Palliser Campus, which was brought forward by Coun. Darin Chow.
Swanson had requested early polling in South Hill be added, which Chow supported, although it was defeated 4-3, followed by requests for early polling in other areas which Chow voted against.
After supporting Swanson's South Hill request, Chow said he would not support the others because Swanson was only trying to make a point. Swanson said if SIAST received an early poll because some people asked for it, then other areas that make a request should as well.

What difference does it make? If your going to vote just go vote! If it is important to you then go vote. If its at siast go to siast. If they said it was going to be in your living room you would be mad it was not in your kitchen. The trouble with YOU PEOPLE is your not happy with anything. I wonder how you make it through the day. Are you this bitter in everything you do. Put your name on the ballot at the next election and say your against everything and see what happens. It worked for brian, what dont you all give it a try?

I would suggest anyone from South Hill, East End, Central, Sunningdale, where ever, if you want the priviledge of having an advance poll like SIAST place your request with Chow.

THis should be a general election. we need a new council, without a rehearsed agenda.
