The Moose Jaw Rotary Club gathered Monday for the weekly noon luncheon meeting at the Heritage Inn.
At the conclusion of lunch, a number of items were raised at the business portion of the meeting. These included welcoming special guests: Susan Hanna from the Royal Bank of Canada, Lynn Starkey; and Jesy Garino, the former Rotary Exchange student to Moose Jaw from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
In other business the club thanked Marlene and Reg Williamson for their leadership and organization of the breakfast event sponsored by the club at the recent Relay for Life.
Rotarian Don Jones once again indicated the need for two Grade 11-12 students to apply for a Rotary bursary to assist them in their future education. To date none have been received.
Guest speaker Lynn Starkey updated the club as to the current position of the Ferguson Fund with a well balanced and informative presentation.
Club executive members were reminded of the business meeting to be held Thursday at Noren and Partners at 7:30 a.m.
The meeting adjourned with the Four-Way Test followed by God Save the Queen.
