According to one of the organizers of Sidewalk Days, the 2009 event is proving to be a "great success."
Dale Harvey said this year's Sidewalk Days, presented by the Moose Jaw Downtown Business Improvement District (BID), has more participants then ever before.
Harvey said there are more than 100 merchants and restaurants partaking in the event. "Everything has just been great."
The event, on Main Street North from Ross Street to Manitoba Street, features food stands, puppet shows, merchants of all kinds and performances and entertainment for all, he said.
Tonight beginning at 10 p.m., Harlequin will perform in front of the Cornerstone Inn Pub and Eatery.
Sidewalk Days continues Saturday on Main Street North.
Saturday night, the band Streetheart plays in front of the Cornerstone Inn Pub and Eatery beginning at 10 p.m. Tickets are $20.
