Superannuated Teachers of Saskatchewan

City of Moose Jaw

The Moose Jaw branch of the Superannuated Teachers of Saskatchewan will hold a luncheon meeting at the Wildlife Federation Hall on Jan. 15 at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and entertainment featuring the Vanier choral group will be at noon. To reserve a meal call 306-692-6148.

Taoist Tai Chi

Taoist Tai Chi Moose Jaw branch will have an open house on Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. at St. Andrew’s social hall.

Prairie Pens Writers' Group

Prairie Pens Writers' Group will meet on Jan. 20 at 10 a.m. upstairs at the Moose Jaw Public Library. New members are always welcome. For more information, contact Christina at 306-693-9337.

Alzheimer Care Essentials Learning Series

Alzheimer Care Essentials Learning Series will be on Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25 at 7 p.m. It will offer family members and friends caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s or other dementias an overview of the disease. Topics will include memory loss, changes to the brain and effects on behaviours, coping strategies, drugs, treatment and research, future planning and community resources. It will be available at the following Five Hills Health Region (FHHR) telehealth sites: Moose Jaw, Assiniboia, Rockglen, Craik and Central Butte. Pre-register by Jan. 30.
