The Kinsmen Sportsplex will have Try-it-out-Tuesdays every Tuesday in February from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. During the 7-9 p.m. public swim, try out a different piece of equipment assisted by the lifeguard staff.
Minto United Church Sunday School will have a Fun Day in the church auditorium on Feb. 9, 10-11:45 a.m. The theme is ‘Celebrating All Our Fabulous Friends.’ Activities will include cup stacking, air hockey, basketball, Bible trivia, nail art, friendship bracelets, face painting and snacks. Cabin Fever Quilt Show will be on Feb. 11, 2-4:30 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Church. There will be a display of quilts and handiwork in the sanctuary and coffee and goodies in the court. A silver collection will be taken. It is a postponement from Feb. 4 because of a water shutoff at the church.

Moose Jaw Wildlife Federation
The Moose Jaw Wildlife Federation will host the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation’s 85th annual convention from Feb. 13 to 15 at the Heritage Inn. Opening ceremonies begin at 1 p.m. on Feb. 13. Between 300 and 350 guests will attend.
Family Fun Day
Family Fun Day activities will be at YaraCentre on Feb. 17 starting at 9 a.m. Activities include family zumba, parachute games, jumping castles and free turf and track use.
Moose Jaw Public Library
Interior Design: Form and Function with Jillian and Karrin from Jillian’s Design Elements will be on Feb. 18 at the Moose Jaw Public Library at 7:30 p.m. They will discuss current trends and share design ideas. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
Writer’s Circle for youth aged 10 to 18 will be at the Moose Jaw Public Library on Feb. 19 at 6:30 p.m. Grow writing skills through an hour of reading, writing and critique and bring a piece of writing. No registration is required and admission is free.
Juicing vs. Blending with Lynne McNabb, registered nurse, will be on Feb. 20 at 2:30 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Public Library. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.

FSNA general meeting
The National Association of Federal Retirees, formerly Federal Supperannuates National Association or FSNA, will have a general meeting on Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. at Timothy Eaton Gardens.
International Cultural Evening
An International Cultural Evening at Moose Jaw and District Seniors will be on Feb. 21. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and supper is at 6 p.m. Cost is $18.
Telus Cup volunteer sign-up
2014 Telus Cup volunteer sign-up and size-up evening will be on Feb. 18 at the Heritage Inn, 7-9 p.m. The host organizing committee is working towards its goal of 250 volunteers to help with events leading up to the games and festivities taking place from April 20 to April 28 in Moose Jaw.
