Family Day swim schedule
Family Day swim schedule on Feb. 17 at the Kinsmen Sportsplex will be: 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. adult noon swim; 1:15-5 p.m. extended public swim; 5-7 p.m. lap swim; 7-9 p.m. public swim; 9-10 p.m. adult swim. The extended public swim will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday as well. Purchase a one-year membership and receive a 10 per cent discount.
Family Day Winter Wonderland
Family Day - Winter Wonderland event will be at the YMCA at 220 Fairford St. W. Health, Fitness and Recreation Centre, 1-4 p.m.
Family Day skate
Free Family Day skate will be on Feb. 17 at the Kinsmen Arena. From 2:15-3:15 p.m. will be the family skate. Children and youth must be accompanied by an adult and from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. will be the public skate.
Moose Jaw Highland Gathering and Celtic committee
The Moose Jaw Highland Gathering and Celtic committee will host a general meeting on Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. in the boardroom at the Moose Jaw and District Chamber of Commerce. Stamp and Scrap Saturday
Stamp and Scrap Saturday will be on Feb. 22, 1:30-4:30 p.m. at 916 Brown St. Make hand-stamped greeting cards or 12x12 scrapbook pages. Admission includes a goody bag, door prize entry form, snacks and displays. Bring adhesive and scissors, but other project supplies will be provided. Space is limited. Steven Palmer, singer-songwriter who lives in Moose Jaw, will have a CD release party concert at the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre on Feb. 22 at 7:30 p.m. for his fourth album, “Prairie Airs.” The concert will feature two special guests, Sister Reign, a sister duo from Minnedosa, Man., and Kelly Sapergia, a keyboard player from Moose Jaw.
Moose Jaw Town and Country Singles Dance will be on Feb. 22 from 8 p.m. to midnight including a midnight lunch at the Church of Our Lady Community Centre. The band will be Len Gadica. Married couples are welcome. Cost is $12. For more information, call Marion at 306-691-6634.

Optimist All-Stars Night
Optimist All-Stars Night will be on March 1 at the Golden Nugget Centre at the Moose Jaw Exhibition Company featuring a hot stove with Henry Burris and Chris Getzlaf. There will be live and silent auctions. Cocktails are at 6 p.m., supper is at 7 p.m. and the program is at 8 p.m. All proceeds will go to the paediatric department of the new Moose Jaw hospital. Calvary Baptist Church
Pastor Isaac Appiagyei from Ghana will be the guest speaker at Calvary Baptist Church, 60 Hochelaga St. W., on March 2 at 11 a.m. He converted to Christianity at age 22 and had an international ministry of church planting and missions.
