Moose Jaw’s Larissa Shasko has announced her intention to run in the upcoming municipal election as a councillor candidate.

On Thursday, the former Green Party of Saskatchewan leader made her intentions known, citing as credentials previous experience running federally in the Palliser riding for 2006, 2008 and 2011, as well as provincially in Moose Jaw Wakamow in 2007. She also ran in the 2009 municipal election, receiving over 2,000 votes.

“My commitment in all of my political involvement has always been first and foremost to my fellow citizens of Moose Jaw,” she said.
