Moose Jaw Police Service has identified Oscar Rosnes, 81, as the man killed Friday afternoon when the truck he was driving plunged in to Plaxtons Lake along River Park Drive.

Rosnes has been identified by police as the driver of the vehicle. Initial investigation into the accident has revealed alcohol does not appear to be a factor. However, police say it appears Rosnes suffered a heart attack .

Witnesses at the scene say the 2004 Ford F150 truck  appeared to be about to leave a parking lot in Wakamow Valley, but then continued over the median and slowly drove into the lake. Foul play is not suspected.

The second occupant of the vehicle, a 45-year-old female, remains in hospital in critical condition. Her name will not be released at the request of her family.
