Moose Jaw police say a 48 year old woman was pulled unconscious from a house fire on the 200 block of River Street East  early this morning and died in hospital.

Police were called to the fire at 4:52 a.m. today. Upon arrival police found smoke billowing from the windows of the house. Firefighters went inside and recovered the woman who was transported to hospital. Attempts to revive her failed.
