The Halloween dance at the Moose Jaw Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 59 was enjoyed by all who attended. Three judges had a difficult time but eventually awarded prizes for the best, most original and most gruesome costumes. Photographs of the evening will be posted in the lounge.
Ceremonies will be held Wednesday for Remembrance Day to honour soldiers past and present. After the service at 10:45 a.m. at the Civic Centre, a public gathering will be held in the Legion memorial lounge.
A general membership meeting will be held Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.
Cribbage winners for Oct. 27 were Kathy Martell and Steve Edwards, first; Mary McCready and Carl Pelkey, second; and Gerry Ferguson and Norm Peterson, third.
Winners for Nov. 3 were Marlene Wiebe and Vivian Silvey, first; Con Rittwage and Darryl Walker, second; Ester MacAulay and Ron Ponto, third.
