Indie rock band Whiskeyface will be promoting its debut full length album Soothing Absence of Light In Moose Jaw on August 21 at Java Express at 2 p.m.

    The Edmonton-based band consisting of principal songwriter and guitarist Garrett Craigs, bass guitarist Frank D. Pirker, lead guitarist Mark Budd and drummer Steven James.

    They formed in August of 2009 and have been touring and recording since.
