After two decades of songwriting, recording and touring, country artist Charlie Major says his fans know what they’re getting when they come to see his show.
“I think people know what to expect after 20 years,” he told the Times-Herald on Friday, adding that his shows feature a solid mixture of classics and new songs. “We try not to disappoint them.”
Major will return to the Mae Wilson Theatre in Moose Jaw on Feb. 23 for a 90-minute solo show, presented by Casino Moose Jaw.
Speaking to the Times-Herald from his home in Ottawa on Friday, Major, 58, said he is still busy writing songs and hopes to return to the studio next month.
“We’ve played the Mae Wilson Theatre a couple of times,” he said, noting that he's checked out the local attractions during his visits. “We’ve done the Al Capone tour.”
