Rochelle Meyer from the Edward Jones office, here in Moose Jaw, said the contest is more than just making the best scarecrow.
She said although that is the main objective, people can also decorate the front of their homes and yards to match their scarecrows or just their front porches to look like fall.
“We really are just trying to do something fun to help raise money for the Moose Jaw Health Foundation.”
Meyer said for all of the festive fall lovers out there who would like to participate in the contest, they can register at either the health foundation, located in the Moose Jaw Union Hospital or at her office, located in the City Square Mall.
Judging for the the best fall decorated home will take place between Oct. 2-16.
