More than 550 people gathered together at a Moose Jaw school Friday to celebrate Thanksgiving.
Every year Lindale School invites families and friends to the building to share in a meal with their children.
Principal Patti Rodger said Friday was the fourteenth time a Thanksgiving meal had taken place at the school.
She said: “We serve about 560 people here. Much of the food is donated by our parents and we believe this is one of the most successful events that we can celebrate with our parents and our students and bring together the school community.
“The grade eight students take the lead role under supervision of their teachers and they help prepare and they serve the meals.”
“It truly helps us be thankful. I think everybody has their eyes opened when they see this.”
