According to Environment Canada Meteorologist Dan Kulak, the weather over the next few days may seem out of the ordinary but it isn't.
As of 3 p.m. Monday, it was forecast that today's high could reach 22 C, however, Wednesday could bring a low of 0 C and snowfall.
Although this may seem like another crazy forecast for Saskatchewan, Kulak said in the early part of May it is normal for Moose Jaw and area to see up to three centimetres of snow.
As for where the cooler weather is coming from, he said it is the result of a spring storm system moving through Alberta and down into the southern part of the province.
Kulak said the storm is moving rather quickly and should only be in the vicinity of Moose Jaw for the better part of Wednesday.
He said there's still a bit of uncertainty as to when the spring storm will hit and advises people to keep their eyes on the local weather forecasts through Tuesday night and most of Wednesday.
"I think the big key here is to get people to pay attention to the forecasts."
He said people can expect cooler temperatures early Thursday morning but by the afternoon, the high could reach 11 C.
As for the weekend, Kulak said it's not going to be hot but it is going to be decent, around the 16 C mark on Saturday and a high of 20 C on Sunday.
