The author of The Book Of Angels, The Hidden Secrets was in Moose Jaw Saturday night introducing the angel Sealiah to a group of 26 women.
The two and a half hour lecture given by Christiane Muller at the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre, introduced the angels "as not just little beings with wings but a powerful symbol and state of consciousness that expresses our spiritual powers and special abilities."
Muller said Sealiah is just one of 72 angels people can call upon when in need of reflection, guidance or clarity.
The book discusses a hidden mystical text rediscovered in 1975.
Muller said it is this text that inspired her to open her own mind, body and soul to the idea that angels are not just figures represented by small children with wings but many levels of conscienceness that can be found inside everyone.
She told audience members that to better understand the world around they and to become connected to the angels they must look for signs, analyze those signs, work with the angel that represents those signs and the message will then be clear.
Muller, originally from Geneva, Switzerland, has been spiritual since she was a little girl.
"My grandparents were of the Christian faith so that was always an influence," she said.
However, as she grew older and moved further into the material world, some of that spirituality and faith disappeared.
It wasn't until she left her job at a Swiss bank to pursue personal development and helping people who were terminally ill, that she rediscovered her spirituality.
Although the book has become a bestseller around the world, it has just recently become available in English in the United States and Canada.
Muller said this is her first English tour and is pleased with its success.
"The people I have met have been absolutely beautiful and open."
She said teaching people about the angels and how they can change their lives is a rewarding experience.
Along with her husband Kaya, who is from QuÉbec, Muller will be travelling to over 80 cities in nine provinces.

The ability to believe that which is not palpably true is a trait that human beings acquired through the evolutionary process. That said, it should be the rational person's aim to eradicate unsubstantiated beliefs, not buy into new ones.
If you are not rational, why are you reading this?
