About 275 persons gathered at Emmanuel Lutheran Church June 6 for an evening of fun and celebration.
Comedian Jan Struck of Appleton, Wisconsin entertained the crowd with two comedy routines about life in the Lutheran Church.
In one segment she shared the church perspective from the view of a five-year-old and had people crying with laughter.

The congregation formed a special four-part choir under the direction of Gloria Moffatt and assisted by Dorothy Johnstone to perform a num ber of pieces during the evening program.
A social hour followed in the fellowship hall to conclude the evening.
Rev. Thomas Prachar, bishop of the Central District of the Lutheran Church of Canada, was the guest preacher at the June 7 morning church service.
Assisting in the service was former pastor, Rev. Jes Schienbein (1971-77) from Carsland, Alta., and a son of the congregation, Rev. Rod Buck of Winnipeg.
Former Director of Parish Services (2000-04) Christian Dorsett from Tulsa, Okla. helped with the children's message in the service by making a balloon cross.
The 75th anniversary booklets were available after the service and can also be picked up free of charge at the church office for anyone interested.
The final anniversary event will be a pictorial directory in the fall that will include photos of the various events and services held during the year.
