The 10th annual Sandy Creek Gospel Jamboree returns this weekend to Besant Campground, west of Moose Jaw on the Trans-Canada Highway.
The program begins Friday at 5 p.m. and continues through to 5 p.m. Sunday, with continuous music and gospel presentations. Masters of ceremonies will once again be Kenny Overcast and John Duerksen.
Pancake breakfasts are scheduled Saturday and Sunday at 8 a.m., and other concessions will be available on the grounds. Audience members should provide their own lawnchairs and umbrellas.
Following the opening ceremonies Friday at 5 p.m., performances will include: Todd Allen Family at 5:15 p.m.; The Hunters at 5:40 p.m.; Bobby Bowen Family at 6:15 p.m.; The Fehrs at 6:40 p.m.; Freedom Band at 7:05 p.m.; Kenny Overcast at 7:35 p.m.; Eli Barsi at 8 p.m.; Lumber River Quartet at 8:30 p.m.; The Daae Family at 8:55 p.m.; One Heart at 9:20 p.m.; and Matt Rapley at 9:45 p.m.
Saturday's performance schedule includes: One Heart at 9 a.m.; The Daae Family at 9:35 a.m.; Lumber River Quartet at 10:10 a.m.; Bobby Bowen Family at 10:55 a.m.; Micah project presentation at 11:30 a.m.; Todd Allen Family at 11:50 a.m.; The Fehrs at 12:35 p.m.; Marty and Giggles for kids at 1 p.m.; Matt Rapley at 1:30 p.m.; Kenny Overcast at 2:15 p.m.; Freedom Band at 2:45 p.m.; Micah project offering at 3:30 p.m.; One Heart at 3:35 p.m.; Eli Barsi at 4:20 p.m.; The Fehrs at 5:05 p.m.; Todd Allen Family at 5:35 p.m.; Kenny Overcast at 6:10 p.m.; Bobby Bowen Family at 6:30 p.m.; Lumber River Quartet at 7:05 p.m.; The Daae Family at 7:40 p.m.; Freedom Band at 8:55 p.m.; Matt Rapley at 9 p.m.; and Eli Barsi at 9:40 p.m.
Sunday's performances begin at 9 a.m. with The Hunters and conclude with the Lumber River Quartet at 4:25 p.m. A worship service will run from 11 a.m. to noon.
Tickets for the jamboree can be purchased at the Besant Park gate.
