On Thursday, Premier Brad Wall will be in Moose Jaw for the multiplex sod-turning ceremony.

The event will take place at the intersection of River Street West and Second Avenue Northwest at 11 a.m.

While in Moose Jaw, the premier will also be attending the Wakamow Valley Kids Day.

The kids day will take place at Kiwanis River Park at 1 p.m.

Wall's visit to the Friendly City is part of a tour he is taking to three Saskatchewan communities.

Before his visit here, he will have been to Lloydminister and Battleford, which, like Moose Jaw, received funding for projects through the province's $100-million Municipal Economic Enhancement Program.

Just a word of caution...make sure that Dawn Luhning is invited. Moose Jaw does not need a repeat of the last time we had a photo op. Remember this is an election year and even those opposed to the project will want to be included. City Hall get that invitation out to Luhning or be prepared for the fall out.

Everyone get there early because you will want to get a good parking spot...oh right there are none that's just part of the new Multiplex's charm...you get to exercise on the way there so the beer and hot dogs you eat at the game will be worn off by the time you trek back to your car five or six blocks away.. Council and the PM had best walk over from City Hall...

News flash: Swanson motions to operate the shovel as he's the most experienced... Ditto doll votes in favor.

This will be a big day in Moose Jaw's history. I hope to see you all down there and would love a chance to meet you!
