The Five Hills Health Region presented its annual report showing a surplus of nearly $7 million. At the Five Hills Health Region (FHHR) meeting Wednesday night, the region's annual report to the Ministry of Health was approved. While the region's assets and liabilities matched at $46.74 million, its statement of operations showed a surplus of $6.69 million in revenue over expenses. The surplus was for the fiscal year that ended March 31. Cheryl Craig, the Five Hills CEO, said over all the region's board was satisfied with the results shown in its annual report and was not surprised by the results. The report stated the region had once again finished its year with a balanced budget and was in a financial position that placed it ahead of the other regions in the province.
