Over the holidays, the Moose Jaw Health Foundation hopes to raise the final $100,000 needed for the renovation and construction of a new intensive care unit (ICU).
The foundation has already has raised more than $550,000 for the unit at Moose Jaw Union Hospital.
The ICU is designed for people who need 24-hour care.
The new ICU will be state-of-the-art, featuring new private-patient rooms, a post-op recovery area, centralized nursing and better infection controls.
