On Tuesday, the province gave the green light for $17 million in highways and infrastructure funding.
The money is part of the provincial $500-million economic "booster shot" stimulus plan, fast-tracking projects scheduled for next year.
Funds will be spent on six projects involving highways and urban centres. but Moose Jaw was not listed among them.
A total of $10 million is going to Regina for the development of the Global Transportation Hub.
Swift Current is getting $6 million for Highway 1 and 3 interchange improvements. Lloydminster is getting $750,000 for the Urban Highway Connector Program. Weyburn is receiving $450,000 for Highway 39 service road improvements.
Melfort is getting $300,000 for Highway 6 improvements and Humboldt is getting $150,000 for Highway 20 intersection improvements.

With the province spending one billion dollars annually on highways, this piddly little 17 million is a non-announcement.
