Rotary Club of Moose Jaw Wakamow met recently at the home of Dave Bowler.
This special meeting was to honour the changeover from the current president, Peggy Terry, to the incoming president, Judy Vermette. Terry welcomed the Rotarians and their partners.
She noted some of the highlights of her presidential year and thanked all members for their efforts and contributions to the club during the previous year. She also thanked Dave Bowler for opening his home and yard to those gathered for the changeover meeting. She also wished Vermette a special year as president.
The Rotary Club of Moose Jaw Wakamow has a tradition of meeting at the homes of members who are willing to be host for a meeting during the summer time. Rotarian partners are welcome to attend the meetings.

Anavets Club
Moose Jaw Anavets Club, Unit No. 252 will hold a barbecue July 26 with the lounge opening at 3 p.m. and the barbecue beginning at 5 p.m., featuring hamburgers and hotdogs.
The barbecue is open to members and the public, with further information available by calling 692-4412.
Cribbage is played Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. for all interested competitors.
