When it comes to opening their hearts and wallets to those less fortunate, the people of Moose Jaw usually come through with flying colours and they have done so again.
For the past month, the Times-Herald has been collecting school supplies for children who need the materials as school resumes.
The piles of paper, binders, pens, pencils and other assorted supplies situated in the Times-Herald's front office are a testament to people's willingness to help out our youth whose families can't afford new school supplies.
Each year, children have been helped by Moose Javians' generosity and we are proud to assist in this project. It is great for the entire city to know that these students have not been forgotten and continue to be helped.
This is another sign of this city's generosity of which all Moose Javians should be proud.
Generosity alive and well
