Christa Jamieson is only nine years old and already understands the value of making a buck and sharing that buck. Christa walks dogs to earn spending money. But she doesn't spend that money on toys, clothes, candy or anything most kids her age long to buy. Nope, she spends it on charities. Right now she is saving her earnings to donate it all to breast cancer research. In November, she will shift her charitable focus to another cause. Why does she do this? "It feels really good to do something nice," she told the Times-Herald earlier this week. At age nine, Christa doesn't have a lot of bills to pay and her parents provide her with all the necessities of life. As she grows older, she might want to keep some of her earnings and give some away. That too is a good life lesson. Far too many people know how to make money, how to pay their bills and how to save money, but not how to set some aside for charity.
Christa could teach us all

CONGRATULATIONS CHRISTA!!
I look forward to hearing about your charitable work for a new cause in November.
Perhaps you would consider doing something for children next time.
AGAIN, CONGRATULATIONS -- YOU ARE A REAL INSPIRATION TO ALL OF US!!

You have a very BIG HEART, Christa. You are a wonderful example for other children, and adults too. Your parents must be very proud of you, and I congratulate them on the wonderful daughter they are bringing up.
