Judy Vermette, president of Wakamow Rotary Club, welcomed members and conducted the recent business meeting.
She shared information about the Rotary International Theme for 2009 -2010, The Future of Rotary is in Your Hands. She also shared her vision for the upcoming year and heard the voice of club members about the direction for the club.
Vermette noted the executive has agreed to more social activities; therefore, a social committee has been recommended with the expectation that one non-meeting social activity will be planned for each month.
Rotarians Walt Yakiwchuk, Dwight Thompson and Don Shanner are planning and organizing Rotary participation in the Harvest Moon Festival today from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. The Rotary Club of Moose Jaw Wakamow will be offering pie and coffee for sale.
Rotarians were asked to review items of interest they may have in their possession for the archives.
