After receiving a number of fraud reports on Monday, Moose Jaw Police Service is investigating suspects portraying themselves as representatives of a prominent company. The suspects have obtained accommodations and goods with the promise the company will reimburse these costs. Local authorities warn businesses to be diligent and verify identities and credentials. Anyone with information relating to this investigation is asked to call the local police.
City police responded to 50 calls between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. today, including a report of a stereo that was taken from a vehicle on the 400 block of Stadacona Street West overnight Monday.
