There are changes underway at Moose Jaw’s Carr’s Confectionery. It’s becoming a little less spacious.
On Tuesday, store co-owner Janet Carr told the Times-Herald the 392-Fourth Ave. SW, business began renovations to accommodate a size reduction in August.
Carr and her husband Jim operate two businesses at the South Hill location — Carr’s Confectionery and Carr’s Pack ‘n’ Mail. Until recently, the two businesses were located in side-by-side buildings.

However, Carr said a recent business deal meant the owners had to fit both businesses into the building with the confectionary. The Carrs still own the building next to the confectionary, but are leasing it to an entrepreneur opening a store called the Medicine Shop.
Carr said her business is a staple in the community.
