If you’re ready to do some serious holiday shopping, Gisele and David Kaczmarek just made your life a whole lot easier.

The grand opening of Gisele's Antiques and Collectibles Corner at 35 Ominica St. West, took place on Saturday and people were ready to take in all the items the Kaczmareks have to offer.

Christmas items are definitely not hard to find, with Snowbabies, village houses, ornaments and jewelry all available for the holiday season.

The grand opening was officially marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Councillor Heather Eby, Mayor Deb Higgins and Moose Jaw Chamber of Commerce CEO Brian Martynook.

“This has been my passion for a long time,” Gisele told the Times-Herald. “I love Moose Jaw and wanted to come back to be able to offer face to face service to a place I love so much.”

Gisele’s Antiques and Collectibles Corner was established on Aug. 15, 2009. Now  Located at 35 Ominica Street West, Gisele’s corner is packed with unique furniture and collectibles to accent the décor of any home. We want to offer a mix of new with old and that gets today’s new look,” Gisele said about the eclectic variety her store offers.

The Kaczmarek’s showroom has a large selection of treasures, with items ranging from the ‘20s and ‘30s right up to today. The couple said they want to take the fine artistic and unique furnishings of the past and incorporate it with today’s look. “Our quality antique furnishings have outlived our ancestors and in many cases will outlive us and our children while also making a difference in saving our planet,” Gisele said.

The couple have also incorporated some new accent pieces to the showroom. Lighting, stained glass, jewelry, replica pistols and unique china pieces are but a few of these new additions.
