To help the City of Moose Jaw develop a transportation master plan, the engineering department is asking Moose Javians to participate in a transportation survey.
The survey takes only a matter of minutes and can be completed via the City of Moose Jaw website or downtown at city hall.
Mokles Rahman, director of engineering services, said the reasoning behind the survey is to help the city complete a master plan, which will help city planners determine what routs and modes of transportation most Moose Javians are using, as well as what residents feel are of concern and should be made a priority.
During the survey residents are also asked to give their opinions of the city’s current public transit system, parking, pedestrian and bicycle pathways.
The survey will run until Oct. 21.
Rahman said he encourages residents to participate and help improve Moose Jaw’s transportation system.
