The 62nd annual Saskatchewan Association of Fire Chiefs Conference will take place in Moose Jaw from April 12th to 14th.

Around 200 fire chiefs from career and volunteer fire stations around the province will be in attendance for the event.

A trade show will run on Thursday and Friday where 62 suppliers of fire equipment will put their products on display at the exhibition grounds.

“For many of the small communities, that’s their only visit during the year to people who sell equipment. They come to buy,” said Moose Jaw Fire Chief Garth Palmer.

Palmer himself said he is excited to see some of the new technology in the firefighting industry.

“You always see some new equipment that can aid you to do your job better,” he said.

It's too bad that with all these fire chiefs coming to M J they couldn't bring with them someone to do there job, that they are getting paid for,and find out if this fire is a result of arson.M J is to quick to bury the evidence just like the old masons building on ominica street. And arson would easily fall in place for the scheme of things, and M J citizens know what i mean by that.Thank the good lord that every body got out alive.
