People can expect a lot of new things at next weekend’s 30th annual Focus on Trade Show.

“We’re very excited that it’s at a new location this year,” said Krista Olafson, a co-ordinator for the show. “Just within the planning of the event, it’s going very smoothly. I know the vendors that are coming in are very excited to try it at the new location.”

The show, which previously took place at the Moose Jaw Exhibition Company, has been relocated to the Ford Curling Centre at Mosaic Place to accommodate for more vendors and more attendees.

Olafson said in terms of vendors, they are sold out with 125 booths to showcase what Moose Jaw and southern Saskatchewan has to offer. It is an increase of 25 booths from 2011 - and there is a wait list of seven names.

Olafson added that approximately two-thirds of vendors are repeats from previous years, leaving one-third of the vendors to be new. Some of these new vendors include Lemon Heaven, Curb Appeal, Pampered Chef, Jockey clothing, Southland Roofing and Sunset Gourmet Food.
