Brian Martynook, CEO of the Moose Jaw and District Chamber of Commerce compared Administrative Professionals Day to Mother's Day or Father's Day.

“It's just one day of the year that we try to acknowledge the work that professional administrators do from day to day,” said Martynook.

To show their appreciation, the chamber of commerce sponsors an annual luncheon for administrative staff. The turkey luncheon will take place Wednesday at Timothy Eaton Gardens beginning at 11:45 a.m. Tickets are available for $25 each.

“Everybody gets in a rut doing their work,” said Martynook. “It's just some day that we can show that appreciation to the staff, the administrative staff that we have in business.”
